Do they know it’s Christmastime at all?

Wednesday, December 24th, 2008

Probably the Christian ones do.

There won’t be any snow this Christmas in Africa. You see, it’s in the Southern Hemisphere.

Snarkiness aside, look at that cast of folks. Amazing!

Coming This Christmas from Atari: Disappointment!

No, ET! Get the hell out of my house with your crappy game! What have you done with Santa?

Santa…in…Spaaace!

Wow, here’s an ad that really makes you want to get an Atari 5200 (the one with Pac-man games that didn’t cause horrible seizures)!  Who knew Santa was so hi-tech?

In other news: There was a Wacky Wallwalkers cartoon?  Why the hell was there a Wacky Wallwalkers cartoon?  God damn it 1980s, is there anything you wouldn’t turn into a horrible cartoon?

Bananarama…

They were so dreamy!

Yeah baby, they've got it.

Yeah baby, they've got it.

Heart and…Soul?

Monday, December 1st, 2008

So the question for the day for my friend (whom we shall call “Fats”) was, “Which band name is worse, T’pau or Kajagoogoo?”  He went with T’pau.  And it is.   You see, I always thought “T’pau” sounded like some bad attempt to make a Star Trek name.  I didn’t know how horribly right I was:

T’Pau formed in 1986 and took their name from a female Vulcan priestess in the Star Trek universe.

Thanks, Wikipedia!

I’m not sure I can ever listen to “Heart and Soul” again without dying a little inside.
